Expanded Offerings at Speed! - Additional training sessions & SpinScan (c) evaluations

March 3rd TT Results are HERE...

Additional Class Times.

Checkout our Schedule for noon ride dates. Speed Cycling is pleased to announce several new offerings at it's Fitchburg location. USCF Certified Coach, Andrew Hellpap will be leading a 6:00 A.M. training session every Friday. These sessions are open to all and are included at no additional charge in the monthly membership. If you are interested in attending these additional sessions, you only need to show up. Andrew is also starting a noon hour ride series. Contact Andrew for details, or simply show up.

SpinScan© Evaluations.

USAC Certified Coach, Diane Ostenso, has begun conduction SpinScan evaluations at Speed Cycling. SpinScan provides biofeedback used to evaluate a rider's pedaling mechanics and can also identify the results from small adjustments to bike position. SpinScan offers two different ways of looking at your pedaling including a multi-color torque graph. This graph shows one full 360-degree pedal revolution divided into 15-degree segments. It will help identify dead spots in your pedal stroke resulting when power is not being efficiently transferred to bike's drive train. SpinScan reports a 'SpinScan Number', which is the average torque divided by the maximum torque times 100. Contact Diane to schedule your SpinScan analysis. Get your legs producing optimum torque through the full 360-degree pedal revolution,

USAC National CX Championships

Speed Cycling's Megan Korol posted a great 2nd Place result in the Woman's Single Speed National Championship to open the 2012 Cyclocross National Championships! Incredibly, it was the first time Meghan ever raced a singlespeed bike, and it is rumored, it was only the 2nd time she ever rode a single speed.
