May-Sept Outdoor Training

Starting at $100/month

Speed Cycling's outdoor training is composed of CyclingRunning and Swimming programs running from the beginning of May through the end of September. These are group training oportunities led by Speed Cycling's coaches. We want to help you become a better cyclist, runner, swimmer or multisport athlete. We will share our knowledge and expertice to help you excel. Workouts will primarily be held outside, however when weather conditions prohibit outdoor cycling we will hold class inside our facility. Running workouts will be held at the Middleton track. Open Water Swimming will be held in area lakes, primarily lake Wingra in June and then Monona and Mendota in July and August. June-August Open Water Swimming

$120/mo or $275/3 mo

This year SPEED CYCLING has teamed up with pro-triathlete Jackie Arendt who has been loving her training at SPEED all winter. Most open water swim sessions will be led by Jackie. She is certified in lifeguarding, CPR/first aid, and has been coaching swimming for 10 years and has triathlon experience ranging from sprint to multiple Ironman races. Coaching

Speed Cycling personal coaching will provide you with an interactive coaching relationship. This relationship is more than just a training plan. Your coaching will evolve with you, the athlete, to provide optimal training for you and your events.  Speed Cycling has assembled a coaching staff who are committed to providing the very best coaching experience for the athletes they coach. Every athlete will receive individual attention to their specific needs and goals. Coaching Includes 2 Lactate Performance tests ($500 value) and Indoor Time Trials ($100 value). Read more...

Coaching Plus Classes

Combine Coaching with Classes and receive the best all-around product at the best monthly rate. Receive personalized coaching combined with structured workouts in class or outside. 2 annual Performance Tests and all (5) Indoor Time Trial entries are included. Training Plans

Speed Cycling training plans are customized plans designed to get you ready for the challenges of your choice. Whether it is your first 5k running race, the State Championships, National Championships, a sprint triathlon, or an IronMan triathlon we can design a plan for you and your events. Performance Testing

$150-$250 per test

Speed Cycling performance testing offers the athlete a measure of their fitness. This is an excellent way to track progress as you train and to verify training zones to make the most of your workouts. Using our CompuTrainers system and the Lactate Pro blood lactate measurement device we will measure your response to a training load. In this test we will determine your training zones based on Blood Lactate, Power, and Heart Rate. Read more...

Speed Cycling Personal Trainers will provide you with a fun and challenging workout which is designed just for you and your personal goals. You might be the athlete who needs an extra core workout or an extra challenge to build muscle strength and endurance; we’ll make sure you get the most out of your 1-hour long workouts. All athletes, including cyclists, runners and triathletes, want to stay injury-free and work on a well-supported body and core. Indoor Structured Cycling

Speed Cycling’s indoor structured bicycle training is a series of coach led ride. In this program you will ride your own bike to condition the precise muscles you will use in events. You will develop a smooth powerful pedaling style under the watchful eye of an experienced coach.
