Today we completed the final, “20 minute test” to measure the average watts (power) of our best, threshold effort. Where they say “your muscle fibers are fully engaged” I say no kidding, just go like hell! Within Gordy and Casey’s sessions, my power output increased 10% from last fall! In my opinion, coached winter training has been an essential part of my peak summer performance. You have 5-6 months of continuity, focus, and management. And the computrainer at Speed Cycling presents some very interesting workout profiles and output measurements. I found the coaches, classmates, and the whole atmosphere to be fun and very motivating.
