About Jackie Arendt



Jackie Arendt is a professional long course triathlete and coach. In her short triathlon career she has moved through the ranks as an age-grouper where she consistently won local races and placed high at the national level. As a first year professional in 2011 she posted 3 top 4 Ironman distance finishes (St. George, Lake Placid, and Louisville) and qualified as one of the 30 women in the world to race at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. 

She continues to race this year as a professional and additionally coaches local athletes from sprint to Ironman distance triathlons.She loves to share her background in swimming and running to help others improve their technique and confidence and to reach their full potential.She has been coaching swim team since 2001 and began leading open water swims last summer.  

Jackie has been a Speed Cycling member since it's very first month. Since she trains for the long stuff, she's the one you might see staying for around 4 hours, sweating up a storm, with Powerbar wrappers scattered around her mat. She loves training with company and making friends along the way!
