Coach Anthony
About Anthony Jagielo
Anthony has been racing triathlons for about 6 years, but in the early years it was pretty much a second sport. Throughout high school he was primarily focused on running and basketball so would only compete in maybe 2 triathlons during the summer. It was more for fun than really competing. Once Anthony got to college he decided that he would rather switch his focus to training for triathlons year round. Now into his 3rd year it was been a blast. Although there was one setback where he had to take the entire summer of my sophmore year off because of an injury he is back and having fun training again. Anthony would have to say his biggest accomplishment and best experience is qualifing for the ITU Long Course Worlds. "My sister would have to be the biggest influence on my love for endurance sports and my drive for health and fitness." This was the basis behind his major in Human Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire; he hopes to be some type of endurance coach after graduation. Favorite Training Tip: Eating healthy is the first component to having any success whether its endurance sports or just a healthy lifestyle. You are what you eat, fuel the furnace with quality food.
