Our Mission

Training is the key to athletic performance. Speed Cycling’s experienced and knowledgeable staff provide individualized, goal-oriented training for cycling, multisport, running and swimming athletes of all ability levels. We offer group training, coaching and personal training at Speed Cycling’s purpose-built Madison facility and we open our doors to other qualified coaches to train their athletes.

       

Summer Schedule Includes IronMan Course Breakdown

Sunday 9am ride meets at Machinery Row Bicycles. We will ride the IronMan course from the Monona Terrace to Verona.

If you are interested in making yourself a better rider, then this summer Speed Cycling has the schedule for you. You will feel rewarded when you finish each of our excellent workouts because you will know that you did work that will truely improve you fitness and RESULTS.

This first segment of the course requires a good pacing plan. We will discuss some good targets for pacing in terms of perceived exertion, heart rate and power output. Learn how hard to go and why it is OK to let the other athlete go speeding by.

Speed Cycling For Athletes

Whether you are training for a competitive event or just trying to improve your fitness, Speed Cycling offers individualized coaching and personal training that will help you achieve your personal goals. Our coaches provide expert training in our purpose built facility. Train with Speed Cycling to perform at your best.

The full Indoor Cycling Program has begun. From November through April we will systematically improve your cycling. Build your fitness with our experts and like minded athletes in our purpose built facility. We perform structured workouts where the coach explains how and why we do different types of efforts. Speed Cycling Personal Trainers will provide you with a fun and challenging workout which is designed just for you and your personal goals. All athletes, including cyclists, runners and triathletes want to stay injury-free and work on a well-supported body and core. Coaching is a relationship with a coach. Together you and a coach will map out a Training Plan. Then we'll work together to adjust the training to how you are progressing.
